Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1
Arrival in Srinagar
Arrive at Srinagar, transfer to hotel. Evening shikara ride on Dal Lake past floating gardens and markets.
Day 2
Mughal Gardens & Old City
Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh and Chashme Shahi, then Hazratbal shrine and a walk through the old city's craft shops.
Day 3
Gulmarg Gondola
Day trip to Gulmarg — Asia's highest cable car (Phase 1) over pine forests and meadows. Pony rides and snow play in season.
Day 4
Pahalgam Valley
Drive via saffron fields to Pahalgam. Betaab Valley, Aru Valley and the Lidder river banks.
Day 5
Houseboat Night
Check into a deluxe houseboat on Dal Lake. Kahwa by the window, sunset shikara and Kashmiri wazwan dinner.
Day 6
Departure
Breakfast on the houseboat, dry-fruit shopping and airport transfer.
